Walk for Human Rights and Religious Freedom for Vietnam.

ORANGE COUNTY.
Approximately 10 thousand people have participated in the Walkathon for Religious Freedom and Human Rights in Vietnam.
The unity event was organized at the Mile Square Park located in Orange County, Southern California on Jan 24, 2010.
Participants in this walkathon strongly condemned the brutal repression of religious freedom in Vietnam by the Vietnamese Communists, most recently demonstrated in their destruction of the Holy Cross at Dong Chiem Parish of the Hanoi Catholic Diocese, Vietnam.
Participants in this walkathon also signed a Petition urging US Congress to put Vietnam back to the list of Countries of Particular Concern (CPC) for their violations of human rights in Vietnam.
